Creating a Great Profile

• Use a professional photo
• Write a detailed bio highlighting your qualifications and teaching experience
• List all subjects and levels you can teach
• Set competitive but fair rates (see our rates guide)
• Specify whether you offer in-person, online, or both

Responding to Enquiries

Respond to student messages promptly — ideally within 24 hours. Be professional, friendly, and helpful. Offer a free or discounted trial lesson to attract new students.

Building Your Reputation

After each lesson, encourage students to leave a review. High ratings and positive reviews will help you appear higher in search results and attract more students.

Setting Your Rates

Consider your experience, qualifications, subject demand, and location when setting rates. Check our Tutor Rates page for average rates in your area.
